Joe Falconer
Joe FalconerPresident and CEO
Joe is the CEO of UAS Professionals Inc. and a FAA certified commercial flight instructor. With over 20 years of experience flying and training pilots, Joe has thousands of hours operating in the national airspace system (NAS) as a flight instructor and airline pilot. He also has over 20 years of experience building, designing and flying UAVs along with working with the technology. Joe is also an adjunct professor teaching the first UAS and GIS class in the country at the University of Denver. Along with being a pilot and having a love for all things that fly, Joe started his career as a computer programmer and established himself in the IT Industry working for Fortune 500 companies. He received his Bachelors of Science degree from Colorado State University and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Denver.
Sarah Evelynn Johnson

Sarah Evelynn is the Marketing Manager for UAS Professionals. Sarah’s areas of responsibility include traditional and digital marketing, brand management, social media, market research, product and service marketing and public relations. Sarah has worked with many startups, and she thrives in the startup culture. Currently Sarah is pursuing a joint degree in Marketing and Finance at the University of Denver. Sarah is bilingual in English and Spanish, living in Madrid, Spain for almost 2 years. Born and raised in Summit County, Colorado, she enjoys skiing and the great outdoors, along with photography and spending time with friends and family.

John Knudson
John KnudsonAviation Attorney
John Knudson has over 25 years of legal Aviation experience. With a combination of government, private and corporate General Counsel practice developing deep experience in all facets of Aviation litigation and insurance, FAA Regulatory and Compliance as well as Corporate and General legal matters. Prior to private practice, John spent 5 years as Trial Attorney with the Federal Aviation Administration and Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. representing FAA in numerous cases brought against the Agency and employees under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA), five of which were tired to verdict. He also represented the FAA in three major airline crash investigation hearings before the National Transportation Safety Board and assisted in representation on numerous general Agency legal matters (1988-1993).
He is the executive VP and General Counsel for Bye Aerospace (2012-Present). John was a partner with Byrne, Knudsen & White – a specialized Aviation Law Firm in Denver, CO (2008-2014) practicing in major airline and commercial operator aviation insurance defense litigation, aircraft transactional matters, FAA enforcement defense, regulatory and certification matters as well as general corporate law and civil litigation.
Mr. Knudsen received a B.S. degree in Business and Accounting from the University of Colorado (1974) and a J.D. from the University of Puget Sound (Seattle University) School of Law (1987). Prior to attending law school, Mr. Knudsen spent seven years as a pilot in the U.S. Navy flying the A-6 Intruder and numerous other aircraft including the A-4 Skyhawk, T-2C Buckeye and T-34. He has logged more than 150 aircraft carrier landings.
Jon Olafson
Jon OlafsonAviation Attorney
Jon J. Olafson focuses on employment law, complex commercial litigation, dispute resolution, aviation and government contracting. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with Honors from the University of North Dakota and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the School of Law at Texas Tech University. As he is active within the Colorado Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law section, Jon is a frequent speaker for continuing legal education course. Jon is an attorney with ALG | Attorneys and is licensed to practice law in Colorado and Texas and in all United States District Courts in Colorado and Texas.
